We are 3TEN

Our Story

Built on 3TENets

3TEN Construction was created with clear goals of bringing teamwork, building skill, and service excellence to our projects. Specifically, the 3TEN name is derived from our 3TENets for doing business: Be Skilled Builders & Leaders, Value People & Progress over Process, and Show Authenticity & Heart.

1. BE SKILLED BUILDERS & LEADERS

Successful construction projects don’t happen naturally.  3TEN strives to exemplify skill and leadership into an industry where teamwork, communication and project outcomes are achieved only with intention and purpose. With construction practices ever evolving and as building systems become increasingly more complicated, it is important to us that we attain the knowledge, expertise and mastery of our craft. We seek to personally engage bringing knowledge, focus and leadership to construct great projects, create great teams and build lasting relationships.

2. VALUE PEOPLE & PROGRESS OVER PROCESS

While processes are essential in construction—ensuring safety, quality, and organization—placing value on innovation, creativity, and adaptability is at the core of our mission.  It is important to stay flexible, especially in a dynamic industry like construction, where every project has its own set of challenges. We recognize that people’s creativity, initiative, and forward-thinking are the catalysts for better outcomes, while processes exist to support, not constrain, those efforts.

Above all, the people — whether they are administrators, managers, contractors, or laborers—are seen as the driving force of success.

3. SHOW AUTHENTICITY & HEART

It is our belief that every construction project has a tone – the overall atmosphere, style, and communication approach that characterizes the team’s interactions and work habits. Communicating care, commitment, respect, passion and responsiveness within a project environment is foundational to creating a positive “Project Tone”.

Returning phone calls, with a phone call. Jumping in to solve problems and challenges, no matter the cause. Expressing thanks.  Taking Responsibility. Celebrating success together. Finally, showing joy and gratitude for being part of the team. The business of construction is a people business—we seek to create an enjoyable and fun experience for everyone involved.

KIND REGARDS

``I can attest to the quality of work, the creative thinking, the dedication to budget, safety and delivery of solutions that work. I feel comfortable recommending this team. They dedicate themselves to their clients, they ensure you are happy and work to minimize disruption. Importantly, they know what it means to work on a college campus.``

``Bill, Mike, and Jase were some of the key team members associated with this restoration/renovation project. They tackled the issues head on, led the team with urgency, and ultimately turned over the project on-time and on-budget. I consider this project as one of the defining highlights of my 20+ year career in healthcare construction, both on the contractor’s side and the owner’s side of the table.``

``Having worked with 3TEN Construction employees over the years has been nothing but exemplary. I can’t wait to continue the relationship. During transition roles, Hansen French, Rusty Bratcher, and Mike Faulks stayed committed to the very end of completing processes and hand-offs to ensure that the people that they serve are taken care of. Truly exemplifying one of the core values of your company. It is a trait that I strongly feel is rapidly deteriorating and your company brings that new life back into fold and is greatly appreciated. The collaboration and cohesiveness that was brought to the table made everyone from the architects, engineers, and business owners feel part of one team. Your team is always up to the task at hand and always puts the people that it serves first. I was able to witness that your team not only cared about the quality of work, but understood what it meant for the hospital it was supporting and how it impacted the patients that it serves. That culture really drives home the quality of not only workmanship, but the environment that it was created in, and the confidence that it was done right. Even more impressive is how this culture was passed down to the subcontractors you hire. 3TEN Construction is always there to not only deliver excellence, but hear our needs and try to step into our shoes and get our company’s perspective to better understand on how to deliver a remarkable space for our team members and their patients.``
